Dr. Ellner is Professor of Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. His research interest is the natural history and immunopathogenesis of TB and related host biomarkers. He has been PI of multiple NIH-funded multidisciplinary research programs at international sites currently the TB Research Unit and FEND for TB (evaluate of new diagnostics) and the Regional Prospective Observational Research for Tuberculosis (RePORT-India) Consortium.
