Dr. Y. (Linda) Xie and her research team conducts clinical and translational studies in tuberculosis (TB) diagnostics, biomarkers, and AI-interpreted clinical imaging. Their interests include detecting and treating TB at an early stage before it spreads or progresses to disease, multiplexing TB detection with COVID-19 and other respiratory diseases, and applying clinical imaging ranging from point-of-care ultrasound to PET/CTs to predict TB disease status and treatment response.
